THERE WILL BE A SOFTBALL MEETING FOR ALL 9TH-12TH GRADE GIRLS this Thursday, Jan. 14th, in room #3 (Coach Collins's room), during lunch (both lunches). This is an important meeting. If you cannot attend, be sure to see Coach Collins for important information.

B-LUNCH WALKING CLUB We will begin today at the south east gym door. Look for the sign.
ALL CLUBS, SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS & GROUPS CAN JOIN IN THE PERCHVILLE PARADE! The parade will start at the Tawas City Fire Hall and end at the Post Office on Newman Street in East Tawas. Entries should be motorized. No fee or registration is required, however you are asked to notify the Chamber of Commerce of your intent to participate by Wednesdsay, Feb. 3rd. Decorate your entry with a general winter ice fishing theme or get into the spirit of the 1960's with tie-dyed headbands and peace signs. The Perchville slogan this year is, "Peace, Love & Perch!" KING OF THE ROAD DRIVING SCHOOL WILL BE HOLDING A SEGMENT ONE CLASS at Tawas Area High School starting on February 8th. Classes will run from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Monday thru Thursday. All information can be found online at www.kingoftheroaddrivingschool.com.
IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE SCHOOL EARLY (FOR APPOINTMENTS, ETC.) PLEASE BRING A NOTE FROM YOUR PARENTS. Keep the note with you to show your teacher so you can get out of class. Turn the note in at Mr. Grusecki's office when you sign out. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GET YOU OUT AND WHERE YOU NEED TO BE GOING ON TIME! Please be sure to check out of class and be ready to go on time! It is your responsibility to watch the clock!
BUS PASS REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BEFORE SCHOOL Bus pass requests must be written (by a parent), turned in the Mr. Kiblinger's office BEFORE SCHOOL, and must have the address and name of the bus written on them. Passes requested before school can be picked up DURING LUNCH & AFTER SCHOOL ONLY.
WORK PERMITS If you are under 18 and have a job, you must have a WORK PERMIT! They can be found in the rack outside front office.

STUDENT DRIVERS: Please try to follow the layout of the parking lot. For the past several days cars have been blocked in and unable to move when need be. Remember to have your tag placed in a visible spot on your dash or rearview mirror. Thank you!
KALEIDOSCOPE APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE OUTSIDE THE COMMONS. (They are in the file on the wall) or you may also get one from Mrs. Grusecki. The deadline is Friday, February 12th. As a reminder, there will only be 15 acts allowed! The first 15 applicants to meet all necessary requirements for the performance will be selected for Kaleidoscope 2010, so get yours completed and hand-delivered to Mrs. Grusecki ASAP!

THE TAFT (TAWAS AREA FEDERATION OF TEACHERS) SCHOLARSHIP IS NOW POSTED. Interested applicants should visit the counseling office website and download the PDF form for more information. Deadline is April 16, 2010.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A PILOT? The Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport Authority is offering a scholarship to students 16 and over by April 1st. Stop in the counseling office for more info. Deadline date to address given is April 1, 2010.
