TODAY'S NEWS…

THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS STILL HAVE YEARBOOKS TO PICK UP: Katherine Carr, Shane Fasbender, Anthony Martinez, Ethan Oslund, Kevin Sanker, Jesse Siwek, Jessica St. George, Andrew DiFilippo, Nathan Koenig, Bruce Myles, James Sheldon, Chase Blackmore, Rachel Branham, Riley Millard, Catherine Pinkerton & Jason Shannon. Please come to Room 34 in between classes to get your books. Also, there are a few extra books left for sale. Please see Mrs. Beckley if you would like to purchase one.

NEW LIBRARY INFORMATION: Last day to check out books is Wednesday, June 3rd. Last day books are due is Monday, June 8th.

ALL STUDENTS: Please return all your library books, magazines, and files as soon as possible!

SPANISH CLUB RELAY FOR LIFE TEAM MEETING: Wednesday, June 3rd, at lunch in Mrs. Grusecki's room. This is the final meeting, so everyone needs to attend!

ALL NHS MEMBERS NEED TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE NHS BLOG: (nhs.tawas.net) Opportunities for hours are posted there for your convenience. Have a great summer!

EARTH CREW MEMBERS: We will have our final paper collection for the year & pizza at 11:15 AM on Monday, June 8th. Please make arrangements to be here. Meet in the commons.

4TH OF JULY PARADE: Any group interested in marching in the parade this year must pick up a form at the Chamber of Commerce. They are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or call 362-8643. There are new rules this year and also a theme; "Back To Our Roots."


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION...

DETENTION Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays after school in Mrs. Whetstone's room (#36) from 2:45 - 3:45 PM. Wednesday morning detention will be in Mrs. Kosto's art room from 7:15 - 7:55 AM.

IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE SCHOOL EARLY... (for appointments, etc.) please bring a note from your parents. Keep the note with you to show your teacher so you can get out of class. Turn the note in to the office when you sign out. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GET YOU OUT AND WHERE YOU NEED TO GO ON TIME. Please be sure to check out of class and be ready to go on time! It is your responsibility to watch the clock!

BUS PASS REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BEFORE SCHOOL Bus pass requests must be written (by a parent), turned in to the office BEFORE SCHOOL and must have the address and name of the bus. Passes requested before school can be picked up DURING LUNCH & AFTER SCHOOL ONLY.

WORK PERMITS If you are under 18 and have a job, you must have a WORK PERMIT! They are in the rack outside the high school office.


COUNSELING OFFICE NEWS...

F.Y.I. FOR ALL STUDENTS: If you want your final report card they will be ready for pick-up only (they do not get mailed out) in the counseling office between Friday, June 19th, and Friday, June 26th. REMINDER, the counseling office is now located in the junior high office.

SIGN UP NOW FOR FALL BOYS JV & VARSITY SOCCER, posted on the window of the high school and junior high offices. If you have questions please contact Coach Cook at kenbcook@gmail.com.

ATTENTION JV GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS: We will have a short meeting during lunch on Wednesday, June 3rd. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Gorman ASAP.

ANY BOY INTERESTED IN PLAYING VARSITY BASKETBALL NEXT YEAR must attend a short meeting Wednesday, June 3rd, after school in room 5 of the Junior High.

THERE WILL BE A VERY BRIEF FOOTBALL MEETING regarding summer camps and calanders on Thursday during lunch in Coach Livingston's room.

ALL VARSITY BASEBALL PLAYERS: We will have a short meeting on Friday in the gym at 11:10 AM to collect uniforms. Please bring the following: Home jersey, Away jersey, Jacket, Pullover/Windbreaker, Pants, Belt, & Black mock-neck shirt.
