OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION...
DETENTION Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays after school in Mrs. Whetstone's room (#36) from 2:45 - 3:45 PM. Wednesday morning detention will be in Mrs. Kosto's art room from 7:15 - 7:55 AM.
IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE SCHOOL EARLY... (for appointments, etc.) please bring a note from your parents. Keep the note with you to show your teacher so you can get out of class. Turn the note in to the office when you sign out. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GET YOU OUT AND WHERE YOU NEED TO GO ON TIME. Please be sure to check out of class and be ready to go on time! It is your responsibility to watch the clock!
BUS PASS REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BEFORE SCHOOL Bus pass requests must be written (by a parent), turned in to the office BEFORE SCHOOL and must have the address and name of the bus. Passes requested before school can be picked up DURING LUNCH & AFTER SCHOOL ONLY.
WORK PERMITS If you are under 18 and have a job, you must have a WORK PERMIT! They are in the rack outside the high school office.

STATE TRACK FINALS: Emily Short improved her 3200M time to 12:07 at the State Final track meet on Saturday. Her finishing position put her in the top 20 Div III 3200M runners in the state. Congratulations!
THE VARSITY SOFTBALL TEAM WON THE DISTRICT SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT SATURDAY (ending Pinconning's 17 consecutive district championship winning streak) defeating Pinconning 2-0 and then defeating Standish 9-0 in the championship game. Nikki Stein won both games, both one hitters. Leading hitters for Tawas against Pinconning were Nikki Stein and Courtney Bissonette with two hits each, Lauren Look with one hit and one RBI and Abby Gentges with one hit. Leading hitters against Standish in the championship game were Rachel Adaline with two hits and one RBI, Alex White with a triple and two RBI, Katie LaHaye with one hit and two RBI, Courtney Bissonette with two hits and Lyndsey Look with one hit and one RBI.
