TODAY'S NEWS…

ATTENTION SENIORS: GRADUATION PRACTICE WILL TAKE PLACE THURSDAY, 5/28 at the end of the school-day. Plan your afternoon activities accordingly - including your work schedules - as we cannot predict when you will be finished with practice.

SENIORS - MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR OBLIGATIONS ARE COMPLETED BY THURSDAY, 5/28 before 2:30 PM. This includes detentions and other disciplinary issues, book fines or any other money owed, and any class work or tests as final grades will be calculated through your last day.

SENIORS: During your last 3 days at school, your Senior Board invites you to celebrate the end of your high school career: Tuesday - College or Future Plans Shirt Day, Wacky Wednesday, and Thursday - Senior Shirt Day. Have a little fun and dress up with your class!

THE FOLLOWING SENIORS HAVE AWARDS FROM LAST WEEK TO PICK UP IN THE OFFICE: Colin Fisher, Amy Gibbs, Celeste Hurley, Lauren Landon, Cody Nickell, Scott Popielarz & Zach Porter.


OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION...

DETENTION Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays after school in Mrs. Whetstone's room (#36) from 2:45 - 3:45 PM. Wednesday morning detention will be in Mrs. Kosto's art room from 7:15 - 7:55 AM.

IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE SCHOOL EARLY... (for appointments, etc.) please bring a note from your parents. Keep the note with you to show your teacher so you can get out of class. Turn the note in to the office when you sign out. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO GET YOU OUT AND WHERE YOU NEED TO GO ON TIME. Please be sure to check out of class and be ready to go on time! It is your responsibility to watch the clock!

BUS PASS REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BEFORE SCHOOL Bus pass requests must be written (by a parent), turned in to the office BEFORE SCHOOL and must have the address and name of the bus. Passes requested before school can be picked up DURING LUNCH & AFTER SCHOOL ONLY.

WORK PERMITS If you are under 18 and have a job, you must have a WORK PERMIT! They are in the rack outside the high school office.

SPORTS NEWS...

ANY GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING JV BASKETBALL Please see Mr. Gorman for the summer schedule.

TRACK UNIFORMS NEED TO BE TURNED IN ASAP. Girls uniforms to Coach Mielock, boys to Coach Livingston.

THE JV SOCCER TEAM CLOSED THEIR SEASON WITH A 0-0 TIE AGAINST ALPENA FRIDAY. Shelly Rouse and Amber Warren combined in goal for the shut out. The girls played well as it was a tough, physical game.
THE VARSITY SOCCER TEAM DEFEATED OGEMAW FRIDAY NIGHT 5-4 IN OT. Scoring for the team were Alyssa Gracik with three, Gina Gerow with one and Jordan Zimmer with one. Two assists went to Audrey Thoryk with Jenny Jacques and Alyssa Gracik each adding one. Molly Stoll was in goal and had two saves.
